Saturday February 3, 2007
This week's Newsletter was bounced by all 101 Rock-it Radio Members that are with Comcast. Comcast was bought out by Time Warner and for the past few days the switch from Comcast to Time Warner has not gone smoothly at all.
On a personal note we at Studio A in Ventura, California of Rock-it Radio is not too happy with Time Warner ourselves at this point. As we were subscribing to there DSL service for Rock-it Radio this weekend. Only to find out they were unable to give us DSL because the utility pole is on the other side of the wall -- Yet still easily accessable to climb on our end -- The Contracted technician employee for Time Warner was with CCT Inc. and was unwilling to do so yesterday. And while attempting to reschedule an appointment was told it would be another 2 weeks before another Technician could come out. We are not too thrilled with time frame given so Rock-it Radio terminated the agreement with Time Warner. And will probably go with a satellite system with Hughes Communications.
All the best,
Bennie Dingo
..................... We have sent out the following letter to all Comcast subscribers and hopefully they will get the message below.
=================================================================== Dear Rock-it Radio Comcast Listener's,
I have noticed that all of our Rock-it Radio Listener club members that are with Comcast have membership has bounced as I am aware your service is down. I know that Time Warner is about to take over Comcast and has been some confusion. I myself personally had a nasty experience with Time Warner myself as they were supposed to give me DSL this weekend and failed to do so. And while I was waiting for Tech. support I heard the message that comcast and Time Warner were having troubles connecting so I feel for all of you. Anyways, since your e mail service was down while we were sending you our newsletter -- Your e mail address bounced off of our mailing list for the Rock-it Radio Newsletter.
We of course don't want to loose you and want to invite you back in with your new e mail address whatever that may be... And ask if you still wish to be in the listener's club to simply rejoin by clicking at the top of the page at the Rock-it Radio Club banner at our main website at: http://www.rockitradio.net and fill out the information once again.
Also, this week's newsletter can still be read online as well at: http://www.rockitradio.net/newsletter.html
Take care and all the best,
Bennie Dingo Rock-it Radio
